The Connecticut Supreme Court Historical Society, in collaboration with the Connecticut Judicial Branch, is inviting Connecticut high school students to participate in its annual Law Day celebration and competition. For the competition, students may submit a written entry or art/song/video keyed toward this year's Law Day theme of "Voices of Democracy," which encourages Americans to participate in all aspects of the 2024 elections. One winner from each category will receive a prize of $1,000 (individual or team); winners also will be recognized at the 2024 Law Day Ceremony, to be held at the Supreme Court Building, 231 Capitol Avenue, Hartford, on May 1, 2024. The deadline for submissions is April 12, 2024.
