Satellite Truck Advisory for State of Connecticut vs. Michael Skakel
Credentialed news organizations
that parked their satellite trucks in the Norwalk Superior Courthouse lot
during the trial of State of Connecticut vs. Michael Skakel will be
allowed to park in the same location on Friday, Aug. 9, 2002, when
sentencing is scheduled. The setup will be similar to the one in place
during the trial.
Those news organizations must
confirm by Friday, July 19, 2002, that they will be reclaiming their parking
spot in the lot. To confirm, please call Frank Discenza, WFSB-Channel 3, at

Trucks will be allowed into the
courthouse parking lot on Aug. 8, 2002, starting at 2:15 p.m. and continuing
until 7 p.m. Trucks also will be allowed to park in the lot between 7 a.m.
and 8 a.m. on the 9th; however, news organizations are advised to
arrive on the 8th if possible.
