Civil Short Calendar Markings via the Internet

The Judicial Branch announced today that attorneys may now make Civil Short Calendar markings via the Internet. Commencing with the Civil Short Calendars dated December 16, 2002, enrolled attorneys and law firms may submit markings, at no cost, through the Judicial Branch website .

Judge Joseph H. Pellegrino, Chief Court Administrator said, "This new feature will serve as another means to access the Court and will provide enrolled attorneys and law firms with the capability to mark civil motions statewide in an efficient manner." This feature includes the capacity to print a confirmation and receipt.

To provide attorneys with this new option, it is necessary to alter the time frames for submitting markings effective December 16, 2002. This change is in accordance with the revised standing order on Civil Short Calendar procedures , issued by the Honorable John J. Langenbach, Chief Administrative Judge, Civil Division.

Attorneys and law firms wishing to take advantage of this new feature must enroll and may do so by accessing the E-services section under "Tools for Practice" on the Branch's web site.
