Public Hearing regarding Sealing of Files and Closing of Courtrooms

A public hearing on proposed changes to the Connecticut Practice Book regarding sealing of files and the closing of courtrooms is scheduled for Wednesday, April 30, 2003, at 10:00 a.m., in the Supreme Court located at 231 Capitol Avenue in Hartford.

The Rules Committee of the Superior Court, chaired by Supreme Court Justice Peter T. Zarella, will conduct the hearing. Members of the public are invited to speak at this public hearing.

The draft rules will be published in the Connecticut Law Journal on April 22, 2003. Copies of the rules will not be available prior to this date. After their publication in the Connecticut Law Journal, the proposed rules will be available on the Judicial Branch's website.
