HARTFORD --
The Judicial Branch is sponsoring
Seniors and the Law, a program that informs senior
citizens, their families and friends about significant issues
confronting them. The event will take place on
Monday, Oct. 25, 2004, in
Room 2E of the Legislative Office
Building located on Capitol Avenue, in Hartford.
The program will begin at 8:30 a.m. and will end at 12:45 p.m.Judge Joseph H. Pellegrino,
Chief Court Administrator, will be joined by Attorney General
Richard Blumenthal, Commissioner Edwin R. Rodriguez of the
Department of Consumer Protection, Commissioner John W.
Betkoski III of the Department of Public Utility Control, Judge Robert
K. Killian, Jr., of the Hartford Probate Court, Supervisory
Assistant State’s Attorney John DeMattia and Attorney Sandra
Sherlock-White. The purpose of the event is to provide senior
citizens, their families and friends with access to reliable
and objective information about significant issues confronting
them.
