Notice re: Closure of Superior Court for Juvenile Matters at Norwalk and the Transfer of Pending Cases

Effective at the close of business on June 30, 2010, the Superior Court for Juvenile Matters at Norwalk will close. As a result of the closure of the Norwalk courthouse, the following changes will take place effective at the close of business on June 30, 2010:

In addition to its current venue, the Superior Court for Juvenile Matters at Bridgeport will serve as venue for all cases originating from the towns of Norwalk, Weston and Westport. All pending cases from those towns and the files of such cases will be transferred to the Bridgeport Juvenile Matters Courthouse at 60 Housatonic Avenue, Bridgeport, CT 06604.
 

 

In addition to its current venue, the Superior Court for Juvenile Matters at Stamford will serve as venue for all cases originating from the towns of Wilton, Darien and New Canaan. All pending cases from those towns and the files of such cases will be transferred to the Stamford Juvenile Matters Courthouse at 123 Hoyt Street, 5th Floor, Stamford, CT 06905.
