Re: State v. Michael S.
Since the snowstorm forced the closing of the
State of Connecticut Judicial Branch on Monday, March 5th and Tuesday, March 6th, the file
in State v. Michael S. will be unsealed Monday, March 12th-10 working days after
the arraignment as per Section 46b-127 of the Connecticut General Statutes. The
file may be purchased from the Clerk of the Superior Court at 115 Hoyt Street, Stamford,
on Monday, March 12th beginning at 9 a.m.
For purchase of the file in person at the
courthouse, payment may be made by a check with an address and identification card, bank
or cashier's check or cash. If media outlets wish to make arrangements to have the file
mailed or sent by courier, they must send a pre-paid envelope and a bank or cashier's
check for the file to Clerk of the Superior Court, Stamford Judicial District, 115 Hoyt
Street, Stamford, CT 06905. For questions regarding purchase of the file, please call
(203) 965-5208 on Monday, March 12th. All checks must be made out to the Clerk of Superior
Court/Stamford.
