The Judicial Branch will
conduct a special statewide Settlement Conference Program on November 14
and 15, 2001. Judges will conduct the settlement conferences in all of the
state’s thirteen judicial districts.
Counsel are encouraged to
consult with the parties to pending civil cases to determine whether such
cases may be resolved successfully under this program. Cases will be
selected from a list of those that may be responsive to this settlement
program.
Counsel should contact the
presiding judge of the Civil Division, in writing, at the court location
where the case is pending by September 21, 2001 to schedule a case for the
program.
