Public Access Task Force
Will Meet Sept. 5 in MiddletownThe Connecticut Judicial Branch’s Public Access Task
Force will hold an informational session for the state’s judges
on Tuesday, Sept. 5, 2006.
The session is open to the public.
The meeting will go from
4 to 6 p.m. in the jury assembly room
at the
Superior Court in Middletown, located at 1 Court St.
Senior Associate Justice David M.
Borden established the task force in May 2006 to make concrete
recommendations for the maximum degree of public access to the
courts, consistent with the needs of the courts in discharging
their core functions of adjudicating and managing cases. Supreme
Court Justice Richard N. Palmer chairs the task force.
The task force has a deadline of
Sept. 15, 2006, to submit recommendations to Justice Borden.
