Scheduled to Honor Justice Borden’s Last Day Sitting As An
Associate Justice of the Connecticut Supreme Court
 A ceremony honoring
Senior Associate Justice David
M. Borden is set for Friday,
May 18, 2007, at 10 a.m. in the
Supreme Court courtroom, located at 231 Capitol Ave. in
Hartford.
The ceremony – on the last day
that the Court is hearing cases for the 2006-2007 court year --
marks Justice Borden’s last day sitting as an associate justice
of the state Supreme Court. Justice Borden will turn 70 in
August, the mandatory retirement age for Supreme Court justices,
Appellate Court judges and Superior Court judges.
