  • Connecticut Free Legal Answers – Connecticut Free Legal Answers is an online pro bono initiative of the Connecticut Bar Association and the American Bar Association. It is a virtual legal advice clinic for qualifying low-income Connecticut residents. Individuals request brief advice and counsel about a specific civil legal issue on a secure website. Volunteer attorneys log-in to the website, review the questions, select the questions they choose to answer, and provide basic legal information and advice. All communication between the client and the attorney takes place anonymously via a secure website. The representation is limited to answering the question posed without any expectation of ongoing representation.
  • Connecticut Veterans Legal Center mission is to help veterans overcome legal barriers to strengthen veterans in recovery. What service do homeless veterans say they need the most? It’s not housing, medical care, or even mental health care or food – it’s access to a lawyer. That’s because legal issues such as problems with a landlord or difficulty securing VA disability compensation can stand in the way of a veteran’s access to stable housing, affordable healthcare, and suitable income. Connecticut Veterans Legal Center provides FREE representation to veterans recovering from homelessness and mental illness to help stabilize their lives.
