Reference Services - It is the reference mission of the library staff to assist in a timely and efficient manner all individuals who are researching the law or pursuing legal rights and remedies. The library staff will attempt to provide professional bibliographic assistance, legal reference, research guidance, and accurate referral. Library staff may be able to request materials from other libraries that are not owned by the Connecticut Judicial Branch law libraries. Please note that the library staff is prohibited from rendering any advice, opinion, or interpretation of the law.
Circulation - Law library collection materials do not circulate.
Copy Services - For copies made by patrons, the following charges, per copy, apply:

- Microfiche: $0.10
- Computer Printouts: $0.10
For copies made by staff and sent to patrons, the following charges, per copy, apply:
- Photocopies: $0.25 plus postage & handling $1.00
- Microfiche: $0.25 plus postage & handling $1.00
- Computer Printouts: $0.25 plus postage & handling $1.00
