Courts approve new Camera Rules
The justices of the Supreme Court
and the judges of the Appellate Court have voted to approve
increased electronic coverage of oral arguments in the Supreme
and Appellate Courts. The jurists have adopted amendments to
the Rules of Appellate Procedure that will take effect June 1,
2007. The amendments to Section 70-9 and the repeal of Section
70-10 of the Connecticut Practice Book were approved by
the Supreme Court on March 29, 2007 and the Appellate Court on
April 11, 2007. These new rules will be published in The
Connecticut Law Journal on April 24, 2007, and are currently
available at the link below.
