A. The
following types of cases are e-filable:
- Contract (C),
- Property (P),
- Tort (T), and
- Vehicular tort (V).
The electronic filing of short
calendar claims and reclaims is required for these case types.
B. The
following types of cases are currently
not
e-filable:
- Family (F),
- Administrative appeals
(A),
- Eminent domain (E),
- Wills & estates (W),
and
- Miscellaneous (M).
The electronic filing of short
calendar claims and reclaims is not required for
these case types.
You can
identify an e-filable case by its docket number. Each docket
number begins with a three-letter location code, followed by a
two-letters that identify the case as civil (CV) or family (FA)
and the two-number year the case was filed. In e-filable cases,
the number that follows the year the case was filed is a 5 or a
6 (for example, HHD CV 09 5000001 or NNH CV 08 6000001). In cases that are not e-filable, that number is a 4 (for
example, FBT CV 09 4001564).
