Strategic Plan
State courts are required to submit a strategic plan and that covers at least two years that includes outcomes and activities for all CIP grants received. Using the Strategic plan the State Court Improvement Programs identifies areas of focus and communicates outcomes to the SCIP Multidisciplinary Task Force and the
Federal Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS), Children’s Bureau. Strategic plans are reviewed, updated and approved annually to demonstrate progress toward objectives.
The SCIP Strategic plan must incorporates approaches for Continuous Quality Improvement and reflects:
- Anticipated outcomes for improved court functioning and family improvement;
- Measurable objectives and related activities to be conducted for each anticipated outcome under each CIP grant.
- Use of data and findings in improving program objectives and intiatives; and
